Hello, DVC'ers!

We made our reservation through a DVC owner and will be leaving in less than two weeks. We are super excited!

Now I'm starting to get down to the nitty-gritty sort of questions. I went online to the Garden Grocer's website, and it brought up some general questions I thought maybe you could all help me out with.

So here goes...If our flight arrives on time, it will arrive in FL at 3:45 p.m. We have an ADR at our hotel (VWL) at 6:45. How will this work with the grocery delivery? Can you request a specific time or something? I'm afraid the groceries might be delivered before we even check in, etc. How do I avoid that?

Thanks!

:)

The groceries will be held by Bell Services in a refrigerator.

When you check out (on GG website) there is a point where you actually specify your delivery window. We have never had GG be late with a delivery, but we have had them be early. If you are not available, Bell Services will keep them for you - just like PP said. Cold foods will be kept cold, etc.

Enjoy! We love GG.

We set the delivery window for 5-7pm since our flight was landing at 4:30pm.

When we landed and I turned my phone on, there was a voice mail from GG saying that my gorceries had been delivered.....at 3:30pm!

When we arrived at Pop Century, I went to bell services to retrieve my groceries. They said that the groceries were already in the room except for my orange juice and sliced apples. They kept that in the refrigerator for me. (We didn't have a fridge. We bought a $6 styrofoam cooler with our GG order and filled it with ice from the machine....worked like a charm!)

We went to the room and all of the groceries were there, as promised:thumbsup2.

Does garden grocer deliver beer? I didn't see it on their website. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, there's a way to add it on at the end of the order. (unless I'm thinking of the other grocery delivery service)

While there is no particular spot to select alcohol on their website, when you check out there will be an open "comment" section. Put your request there. Depending on what your request is, they can't always get specific wines, etc., but they do deliver it. We have done this for the past few years.
