There is a $40 minimum charge for GardenGrocer orders. There is a delivery charge of $12, but orders over $200 do get FREE delivery.
We've used them a number of times with good success. We have had a couple of minor glitches, which they were always able to correct, but their order process is pretty easy with a reasonable selection of items. If there is something you want not on thier list, you can also add that in the comments section and they can usually provide that also.
I want to jump in and ask a stupid question. I have read here and on their site that they will leave order with bell services. Ok what if you have frozen or items that need to be in the fridge? Anyone have issues with this?
Bell Services has both fridge and freezer capabilities. We always have milk, eggs and juice at least and they have always been kept in the fridge. The Bell Staff does a good job of notating the number (and location) of the items delivered by these services.
We used them this past summer and they were great. Left our groceries with bell services including the beer & wine. When we got into the room later in the day we just called bell services for our luggage and grocery order and they brought it right up.
We have used GG 4 or 5 times now and have been very impressed with their service. However, I do think they have a $40 minimum purchase and extras like beer and wine are not included in the minimum.
