Will gardengrocer let me add to my order?
Can I do it on line or do I have to call?

TIA

MIL & FIL didnt want to be included in our adrs, then she changed her mind and I had to call back!

I told her I was doing our grocery delivery and they didnt want anything.
Now, they want me to add stuff.

I almost want to say its to late! Im a busy person like everyone else with kids, school, work ect... They are retired with nothing pressing to do and still cant do things when I need to get them done! AAAHHH!

This is not a good way to start a trip! All frustrated with people not co- operating at all.

Next time if people do not want to make adrs, grocery plans or whatever when Im doing them Im going to say, "Oh Im sorry, I asked you what you wanted when I placed the order. Ill e-mail you the website and you can set up you own." or "Heres the adr phone number see if anything is available."

Yes, I need to vent now, not at WDW!

Ok the killer is I knew what they needed to order before they did. I should of just order there stuff when I ordered mine.

Hi Lauraann630

I feel for you!
Yes you can add to the order but only by phone. We are getting a delivery for our august trip and I called to ask that question.
Maybe the best thing to do is to place a separate order just for them and their order can be billed to their credit card and not yours. If its just a few items then maybe with yours so there is not another 12.00 charge for delivery. Hey Good luck with the vaction- sometimes it maybe hard with the inlaws but have a great time.

Just cancelled and added more items to our grocery list. I did it through email which they suggested so I guess as long as you communicate your changes to them it works.

Good luck and have fun.

So your saying that you had to cancel the entire order to add to it.
I thought you could just call to just add things. I placed my order aboout a month ago and I have already been charged for it on my credit card. Our delivery is for August 25th. I hope i dont need to add anything.

No - in my situation I switched resorts from a DVC to the Poly so I needed to cancel half my order as we don't have a full kitchen anymore and I don't need those items. Then I decided I better order some items like paper bowls/plates for cereal and sandwiches etc for our room plus some other items I thought of ;) (its endless!). They told me to just email the cancellations and they'll credit my cc (which hasn't happened yet) so 2 days ago I emailed my additions and asked them to credit the difference. So we'll see how it goes.

Sounds like you're just fine. Our situation is different and confusing - I wish they'd just let me cancel the whole thing and start over but they thought this way would be easier. Hopefully we get our new grocery list because I won't have room for bacon, eggs, mayo, ham, etc. at the Poly. :rotfl: I'll be double checking prior to us leaving in September.

Have a great trip.

We added quite a few items to our order a couple of days prior to arrival via email without any problems. Everything arrived as requested from the first and second request!

Okay, I e-mailed them my 5 additional items 2 days ago.
Didnt hear from them so
I called today and they told me to e-mail them.
I told them I already did that and wanted to pay for my additional items.
He told me they would call me.

How did you pay for your additional items?

TIA:)

This happened on our last order. They didn't acknowledge they received the order but they came through with the items we requested. You can settle up with them for the extra items at the time of delivery w/cash or credit, and if you're not there, then they will leave the items and you will have to call them back to settle up over the phone. At least this is what happened w/out last order. The delivered and dh called them to make the final payment (on credit of course) for the stuff we had added on later.

hth!

I emailed our cancelled items on 7/30 and haven't heard back from them. On 8/13 I emailed our additions and a completed final grocery list so they could compare what they had in the computer to what we are expecting to receive. I haven't heard from anyone - kind of frustrating as I purposely emailed our changes/additions as I have difficulty hearing and long distance calls are the worst. I haven't received a credit on my credit card (there will definitely be a credit) either so I'm not sure whats going on. I've decided to wait a couple of days and if I haven't heard from anyone I'll have DH call. I may just cancel the whole thing and use wegoshop.

I know they're very busy right now and I'd hate to cancel as everyone has been so pleasant. We still have 40 days until we go so theres no rush but I would like to "tie up these loose ends".

The extra items we ordered were just billed to our credit card the same as the first items were. We did not call or do anything except email them the list of additional items. Everything arrived and charged without any hassle.

I too am feeling the communication (or lack of) frustration!

When I placed my order I indicated I would pay C.O.D. and requested an 8-10am delivery. I didn't think about the fact that we have to change rooms that morning (pain in the behind!) and likely won't have a room until the afternoon. So, even if I were willing to wait around for 2 hours to pay them, I don't have a room to wait in, LOL!

So I need to change the delivery time, if possible, and want to pay with my Visa before we leave. I have sent 3 emails with no response yet.

If I don't hear back from them I guess I will have to stay at the resort for the 2 hour window so that I can pay them....if I can find them that is!

With the 3 hour time difference by the time I get off work they are closed so calling hasn't worked out either.

Im going to wait a few more days and call again. I need to make sure they have added my additional item.

Im also waiting for Coral Reef to call me back. I was hoping the diver could do a sign that says Happy Birthday Zak!

If you are having problems getting in touch with Garden Grocer by phone or e-mail try calling this number- 1-866-855-4350, this what i think is a managers direct number. His name is Brian Cullen ?. He called me to confirm my order because they were having problems with getting the orders the night i placed mine. He was a pleasure to talk with. Try calling him after your order is placed online(if you get nowhere with the emails). Good Luck to all-We are leaving in 5 days so I hope my order goes well.

Coral Reef is good with call backs. Unless they are very busy or debbi is out. When I left a message for the same thing Debbi got back to me by the next day. I'm going to call her this week to confirm
