I have used Garden Grocer in the past and like that they will leave alcohol without having to be there with an ID to accept it. I was about to place an order for my next trip and I saw this at checkout:

By continuing, you agree that an adult over the age of 21 with valid driver's license or state ID will be present to accept this order. You agree that liquor products are not returnable and are not being purchased for resale.

I got onto chat and asked and was told that they will leave alcohol with bell services. When I asked about the above statement there was no response. Now I'm reluctant to place the order. Has anyone else seen this at checkout and had alcohol left with bell services?

We haven’t ordered alcohol from GG in a while. The last time we did I scanned an ID to them, but I also remember we were there to accept the order. I would frankly be surprised if they do leave it with bell services and that bell services would accept it. It seems too risky to me.

I’ve ordered alcohol several times with Dizzy Dolphin and have never been there when they have left my delivery with bell services. Never had an issue. They require you to send them a copy of your DL before hand to have on file so you’re not just “blindly” agreeing to be a 21-year-old adult. Maybe that’s why it works?

We've had alcohol left with bell services before with Garden Grocer. I have my license on file with them. It's just odd that they now have the info on the check out page that they won't leave it but when I messaged them they said they would. I placed the order so we'll see what happens.

We ordered alcohol from Garden Grocers back in October and we had sent them a picture of one of our IDs prior to delivery. We had no problem picking it up from bell services at Ft. Wilderness. We didn’t even have to show an ID at pick up.

We ordered beer (among other things) from them in April for delivery to Beach Club. I uploaded a photo of my DL as usual and they dropped off the order with Bell Services with no problems.

I ordered alcohol in April, scanned the ID in ahead of time and picked it up at bell services. So unless this is a super new policy...

Maybe this is a case of, if Disney does not know there is alcohol, then they will accept it. But they won't sign for it. I know some delivery services still need an adult signature and some don't.

When I ordered alcohol Disney 100% knew it was there as it was a case of beer not in any additional wrapping. They didn’t refuse the order. I read ahead of time that they refused and was surprised when they brought it out in its original packaging.

We order beer every trip with GG and have never been present when delivered. Instacart does require you to be there with alcohol.
