I would say it is similar at dinner time but not sure what the menu at lunch time will be. If you want similar, try the dinner. It has beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, string beans, mac and cheese, salad. It also has fish, where LTT doesn't.
I haven't eaten at GG for years but from what I remember the food was much better than LTT IMO. I've never cared for the food @ LTT and I cringe when I remember how one time they slathered some sort of mustard sauce all over the roast pork at LTT making it totally inedible. Any other time I ate there they served Ham (which I don't eat) instead of the Roast Pork. I only ever ate at LTT for the Character experience since the food isn't to my liking.
My understanding is that they are renovating it, but also expanding the kitchen to support the new Jungle Cruise TS restaurant going in on the other side. (I think where the former Fairies meet and greet was). The two restaurants will share a kitchen. We leave in less than a week and LTT is always one of our "must do" restaurants. And POTC will be closed as well. I am so sad.
Went to GG last summer. It was spinning and the food was good. We inherited two kids from another family who always tackled the characters when they hit our table. We didn't mind. They were so excited. Parents blind to it though. I guess I would be too. The food is sooooo good and they keep brining it.
Important Announcement
For your added enjoyment, beginning November 8, 2015 Chip ‘n Dale’s Harvest Feast will serve lunch as well as dinner!
Both lunch and dinner include platters of beef, all-natural turkey and sustainable fish, along with fresh salad, warm dinner rolls with orange blossom honey butter, buttermilk mashed potatoes and more. Don’t forget to leave a little room for dessert!
Perhaps best of all, some of the veggies you eat—including the cucumbers, Swiss chard, eggplant and sweet potatoes—may have even been grown in our Living with the Land greenhouses!
They offered both lunch and dinner many years ago and then stopped lunch for some odd (and disappointing) reason. Glad that they are offering it again. If I remember correctly, menu and price were the same.
Lunch will be 34.99 adult so, yes, a bit cheaper than dinner. Breakfast is $29.99 adult. I read so many blogs and sources that I can't remember where exactly I saw this, likely the official Disney Parks blog or Disney Food Blog, but it is in my notes so I saw it in a credible place.
