We are doing the Chip N Dale meal at the Garden Grill. What are your thoughts on this meal? Is it worth it? My DD4 likes Chip N Dale and was pretty excited we could eat and see them... This will be our first time, so any tips on what we HAVE to try or anything like that are greatly appreciated.

We have been going there and eating for a long time! It's still my daughter's favorite character meal! She is 21!!! Been going since she was 9.

The setup is much calmer and more organized than most other character meals (my daughter was always shy about interacting with characters when she was little). WE happend to like the food, too!

This is family style. Look at the menu. Everything is brought out. Whatever you want refills on, you just ask for (I eat the catfish, dd eats the beef and turkey!).

We've done Garden Grill twice, have enjoyed it and would do it again! The meal is a set menu served family style to your table. While not fancy, we think the food is good, and your server will bring extras of anything you want more of.

The arrangement of the seating makes each character visit seem very private to your table (especially if you are in a lower level booth), and they may make the rounds several times. And they really will cut up with you if you encourage them with interaction.

Enjoy your trip!! :goodvibes

We love the meal here....something for everyone. The make your own cupcakes for dessert are a favorite of our kids too. I love the catfish...my husband loves the other meats, the kids love the chicken (and mac of course LOL)......it's one of our ADRs every year.

We love this restaurant! the food has always been very good (maple butter for the bread!) and as a PP noted, the setup makes the character visits seem like your own private session with them. i was a tad disappointed when they discontinued lunch, though. Enjoy!!

We love this restaurant and have been going for years. The characters are great and you always get to see them at least once. The food is good, and the desserts change by season. Also, you can ask for more of anything on the menu, including the children's items, even if you don't have kids with you! We always ask for mac and cheese, and we are usually a group of adults :)

That's the one restaurant DH has said we HAVE to go back to that we went to last time. :)

This is awesome!!! I haven't read a lot about it and we've always wanted to go, but never made time. I'm totally confident we'll have a good time. I think we'll have a party of like 8, so we should have our own "area" of seating, so the character interaction should be awesome. The girls will love it!!!

It's actually an underrated restaurant, I think because of the character dining. It's among the better meals in any of the Disney parks, and worth visiting for the food alone.

In 2007 when we ate there we saw Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto. We had wonderful interaction with all of them but Chip and Mickey really took to DS and made the experience really special!!

We were there last week and really enjoyed it.

The food was tasty (loved the salad and the turkey) and the characters actually came by twice and didn't seem to be in a hurry. We saw Chip n Dale, Mickey and Pluto.

We also requested an outside booth so that we could face out while we rotated around and around. =)

Bon appetit!

We love this one! Been there on our last two trips (2004 and 2008). The food was great and so was the character interaction! They came by more than once and spent quite a bit of time at each table. One of our favorites! When we were there, it was Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We really enjoyed it and i'm regretting not getting an adr for my next trip because it is now booked:( The food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere and we weren't rushed at all.

My family had dinner there last summer during free dining in August and loved it. The characters making the rounds then were Chip, Dale, Mickey ("Farmer" Mickey dressed in bib overalls to go with the Land theming, very cure), and Pluto. The place was fairly busy but the characters were able to make the rounds twice and the kids were on cloud nine.

the characters are dressed in farmer gear which is really cute. My step kids liked the interaction and it's definitely an interesting experience to be in a spinning restaurant!

My husband and I didn't dig the food all that much. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't on our list of favorites. Mostly we went for the characters and we were not disappointed!! It's a fun place to eat. :thumbsup2
