Garden Grill with Chip and Dale

Can anyone tell me if this dinner is still available? My kids loved dining with Chip and Dale at the Liberty Tree Tavern during our last trip. And when I asked which characters they wanted to see this trip they asked for Chip and Dale, not Mickey or Donald...Chip and Dale. I can only find them listed at the Garden Grill, but when I tried to make a reservation it looked like they were booked. I just didn't think they were that popular. Thank you!!!

Are you sure that wasn't lunch? I know they discontinued their lunch in 2008. I recently made dinner ADRs for GG for November.

Garden Grill is our boys' favorite restaurant and our arrival night tradition! We were just there for dinner in March, and have ADRs for dinner there later this month. Our boys love Chip and Dale - and Mickey and Pluto are there too!

Lunch was discontinued, so maybe that's the reason for the confusion. I agree - keep trying!!

Allears mentions that Garden Grill discontinued lunch, but lists the characters that still appear at dinner: http://allears.net/menu/menu_gg.htm

I think you might be confusing Garden Grill with Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, which has not had characters since January 09 (with the exception of the time that CP was closed earlier this year.) Here's that link: http://allears.net/menu/menu_ltt.htm

As I mentioned, we were at Garden Grill this March (2010) with all the characters!

i've been trying to book this one too..for Dec.
nothing available...i think that they are holding back tables for the Candlelight Processional dining pkg. i even tried to snag a cancellation from another Disr the other night, but it would not come up available after he canceled.

so maybe after CP dates are released there will be a chance of getting a ressie?? i hope so!

We were able to book this for Dec 10 for our first time! Can't wait - going with 2 small kids, although I think our party may get split up... 5 adults! Eep!

I've been trying to get a ressie in December and can't get in. I didn't realize that it was this popular now.

We got one for our August trip and I was surprised... I was late with making the ADRs.

We have one on December 8 that we may have to cancel. Our friends don't know if they can make the trip or not. If they can't go, I'll be cancelling for 7 people that night. I'll be sure to post on the cancellation thread if I do to give a DISer the best chance of getting it.

So, don't give up. You never know when someone might cancel.

Thanks for all the advice and clarification! I was able to make a reservation today!!!! It's a bit late for my two boys, so I'm going to keep trying for a better time. Good luck to those of you who are also looking for reservations!

No need for apologies! With all of the restaurants in WDW, it's really easy to get a few of them confused! My family is always saying, "What's the name of that place where we ate (insert name of food here) in Disney?" LOL
