Garden Grill??? What do you think???

I am debating between CR and GG on our epcot day. Please tell me which you prefer. It is our first trip and will be myself, DH, DD3 and DD8.

Ok, I'm brain dead. What is CR?

Ok, I'm alive now...Coral Reef....I LOVED Coral Reef. GG is fun, but Coral Reef is really good food and great atmosphere. GG is typical character meal--good food, good atmosphere, but nothing special.

If your wanting to thrill the kids, Garden Grill. Very good character interaction, fun atmosphere, Good times.

Having never dinned at the Coral Reef, I want to, I think the kids will like the fish tank. If you decide to go here, ask to sit by the tank, the kids will like watching the fish and will make your meal go a little easier maybe.

I love the GG and have visited it on every EPCOT trip Ive been on as an adult. The characters always wore adorable country/ farm outfits and the restaurant revolves. Very cool. Food is brought to you, instead of buffet style but still as much as you want. I think the GG is very special. Are there any other restaurants where you can eat dinner with farmer Mickey in a revolving rest.?

Does anyone know what dessert is at GG?

It's a dessert sampler. I remember a lemon square, some kind of cheesecake, something chocolate.... It was pretty good even though you could tell they had come from the freezer. I thought the food at GG was really bland, but the server was good and the character interaction was nice. I haven't eaten at CR in a long time so I can't comment on that.

We just returned from WDW and ate lunch at the Garden Grille on Friday. We were very happy with the food. Everybody was stuffed. The dessert platter was great too! Brownie, cheesecake, pecan pie and lemon square. My ds had the kids meal and loved the cupcake that he could decorate. The character interaction here was very good. Mickey, Chip & Dale and Pluto came by several times.
