Hi all,

We are going to the character dinner at the Garden Grill and in the Passporter I read about something called a '"Rehitching ceremony" I'm assuming it's kind of a renewing of the wedding vows ceremony with Mickey? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

If you do the rehitching you have to ask for that when you book the meal. You also should tell your server as soon as you are seated. (sometimes when you book it the cm will act like they don't know what you mean. Be pleasant but reassure them there is a re-hitch'n at the Garden Grill.) Have fun! ::MickeyMo

We did the rehitching ceremony last May and it was a blast. You definately have to call the restaurant to make sure it is booked. Also remind them when you check in. YOur ceremony will be officiated by a CM and some of the characters. YOu get a small cake and a nice certificate. My husband had heard on another list that the rehitching ceremony was going to be eliminated-apparently its religious connotations offended some. I hope that's not true as it alot of fun for everyone!

Good luck!

I remember reading that they did away with rehitching ceremonies. No idea whether they will bring them back when they re-open.

They did away with it last year sometime. I wanted to do it in December last year but they had stopped doing it by then.
