Garden Grill - Possible to not get fish on family platter?

We ate at the Garden Grill Character dinner last year. No one in my family is a fan of fish and the smell of it makes me a little nauseous, the taste even more so (even though I did not eat the fish, I could still taste it in my turkey). We would have enjoyed our meal so much more if fish was not on the family platter.

Has anyone had any success of requesting fish not be on your platter? I know they are likely pre made so I was not sure...

We are going to be booking our ADRs soon for our next stay and would like to have the answer before hand, We liked the restaurant otherwise and my son loves Chip & Dale.

I haven't been to GG in years but I can't imagine this would be a problem. I'm sure they've had the request before (e.g., for allergies) - Disney is very accomodating IME. Good luck!

Yes, they will accommodate you. If you don't want it, you can ask for more of the others in its place. They are very accommodating.

Not a problem at all. We do it every time we dine there. None of us care for fish at all.
We tell our server right up front - no fish, please, and might as well go extra on the turkey to save yourself a trip since we'll be asking for more of that anyway!

also for the kids... used to be fries and chicken nuggets... now it's sweet potato fries and drumsticks.... kids are used to dining there and getting fries and nuggets... they still do have them available, so we always ask for that also instead..... and extra honey butter we ask for too!
