I need to hear what everyone thinks about these two character dining experiences. Which one would you do? We already have MNSSHP tickets and CRT breakfast, but we want a Mickey Dining Exp. too. Which one is better in your humble opinion! THANKS!

Steph.

I vote for Garden Grill. The atmosphere is much more relaxed simply due to the fact that it's not a buffet. I thought the food was excellent. You get a lot of character interaction here too because the place is not as big as CM. The characters are Mickey, Chip & Dale and Pluto. Again, I find this place relaxing. CM is a bit too hectic for me.:D

Chef Mickey's is kind of a boisterous and loud kind of fun and Garden Grill is a more laid back and relaxed kind of fun. I liked them both, it would just depend on my mood as to which one I would want to go to. The food at both is good but there is more variety at Chef Mickey's. I didn't like the salad or the dessert at Garden Grill but the rest of the meal was good. :) I had good character interaction at both but the characters at the Garden Grill were more playful. :)

Another vote for Garden Grill. We have been to CM several times and although it is fun, it is too overwhelmiing for our kids, especially after a long day at the park. My kids are DD-6 and DS-4. To me, CM had a rushed feeling. There are more food choices at CM, but I preferred having the food brought to our table so we could relax. And I thought all the food at GG was outstanding, although we didn't have the standard dessert. We were celebrating my DD's birthday and got a great big cake!!

No question - Garden Grill. Food and character interaction is awesome. We like to go early and do the Land Ride first. You'll see things from the ride as you have your dinner!

Chef Mickey's was too loud and the food was only so-so when we've been. Haven't been in a while, though, so maybe things have changed.
