Garden Grill opinions please

I almost changed our ADR for there because we had friends who didn't like it. Happy I didn't change because we liked it alot and IMO it was the best character meal we went to.

We have been to Disney 5 times and each time we have lunch at Garden Grill after church Sunday. My kids are extremly upset that they no longer have lunch, but my 7 year old is wanting his birthday dinner there in September. You have to understand that he is NOT a fan of any of the characters there...just loves everything about it.

The character interaction is great! we told our server of my son's special needs, and all the characters took extra time with him. The food was better than average, but not the greatest in the world... although once we did have a less than average meal there.

It is definitely on our list for each and every visit we make!

My step kids enjoyed it. I thought the food was just...meh. It's not a place I would rush to for a fabulous meal. It wasn't horrible...just sort of bland. That being said, the character interaction was great and it was fun to see Mickey in his farmer duds! The spinning is extremely subtle. I am also a big motion sickness sufferer to the nth degree and I took no notice of the movement at all.

I'm sure you will enjoy it! Have fun!!:goodvibes

Thanks so much for your opinions everyone! I think we are going to try it, everyone in my family has approved the menu (which is half the battle, LOL!) and it sounds like the character interaction is really good!

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the Princess breakfast. We went there our last trip (Dec. 07) and my kids and my niece loved it. The characters did not spend a huge amount of time with us, but long enough that my kids didn't feel rushed or anything. I thought the food was good as well. Can I ask how long ago you were there? I hope it hasn't gone downhill because my DD5 is dying to go back.

We also did the Ohana breakfast last trip and liked it as well. And Ohana dinner is a must-do for us every trip, it's my DH's favorite! :)

I'm sorry to say that we were at the Princess breakfast just two weeks ago on our recent trip. Never will return to that one.
