is the garden grill only family style or can you order from a menu? I thought that I had een a menu somewhere but now only see family style menu? Any one that has been recently let me know. :confused3

It was only family style when we went last February. You could choose whether or not to add salad for an extra charge and I think there were a couple choices as far as the kid's meal, but I don't remember.

anyone been recently? Thanks Jotash for your input. Was the food good? what about picky eater.

We were there in January (of this year). It is still family-style. It's not "fine dining" but the food is very yummy.

We'll be eating there for the first time this September -- does anyone know if the ravioli option is vegetarian?

I think at one point last year there was a selection of entrees as part of new format, but that format was very unpopular, and you can be thankful it has returned to the standard family-style format.

While there is not a menu, there are some choices. There is a vegetarian option; not sure what it currently is. The children's food is different from the adult food; if your party consists of both, in practice everyone can select from whatever of each they want. You can ask for more of anything.

If there is something on the standard platter you know you won't eat, you can ask your server not to bring that item, replaced by more of something else. And minor special requests can often be met (e.g. PB&J for very young children). A good server (and most of them are) will work with you.

Can anyone tell me what, specifically , is on the menu for both kids and adults? Thanks!

Quick question on GG. Would this be recommended for a couple with no kids? Or should we steer clear of it?

I'd feel a little self-conscious there, but adults w/o children who readily wait in queue to have their photos taken with characters, anyway, would utterly love this place.

Actually I think this meal is worth the price even without the characters, certainly at lunch and maybe even at dinner. In that respect it's just about the best character dinner for adult-only parties. I felt self-conscious eating alone at the princess meal at Akershus, but I'm sure I wouldn't at Garden Grill.
