i have a bit of vertigo/motion sickness so we have never done GG. I am watching a live stream now from GG and it appears to be either moving Reeeeeeally slow or stopping and starting. Does anyone know? The food looks awesome.

It is pretty slow moving. If it is 1 rotation per hour, that would be 6 degrees per minute, so for example 15 minutes to go 1/4 around. My husband gets vertigo and motion sickness very easily (like on the people mover) and no problem at Garden Grill.

I get very bad motion sickness, especially on anything spinning. I can’t even do carousels without feeling a little dizzy. I ate at GG last year with no problem. You can barely even tell the restaurant is moving.

Very, very, very slow! Sure won't give you vertigo!!

Since they made it FP+ attraction the rotation speed has increased dramatically. I am sure it won't last long because the resulting motion sickness has cut down on the amount of food guests are ordering. :) (Yes this is a lame attempt at humour).

The only way I really noticed it was by my pictures. We where there for an hour and I got everything plus a tiny bit of a go-round.

We weren't even aware it rotated the first time we booked a meal there. About half way through the meal we looked up and realized our scene in front of us changed, and that's when we realized it rotated. It moves so slow that if the scene in front of you didn't change I doubt anyone would ever even know it did rotate.

Ok! Thank you :) our next trip isn’t for a bit but we will add it...which meal is the best?
Breakfast. Without question. If you can get one before the park opens, it's one of the few I think is actually worth it. We managed to get one at 8 AM day before last Oct. We got finished eating and got downstairs and got on the first ride for Soarin' for the day. So fun, they only had a few of us in there. We were on and off before they even had the rope dropped. Even without that though, breakfast we easily the best meal we've had at GG

It moves super slow. So slow, you don't even realize its turning until you have a different view.

We've done dinner and breakfast and both were really good. When we ate dinner there, there was still steak and fish on the dinner menu, that are sadly now gone. We did breakfast there last year and it was REALLY good. That cinnamon roll is so good and I loved getting tots for the potato instead of traditional breakfast potatoes.

I have vertigo and cannot go on many rides. Have been to GG with NO problems at all. Love the restaurant.

I just wanted to add that it does move super slow. I was worried about getting a little nauseous since I can get motion sickness and I had read somewhere to sit facing toward the “inside” of the restaurant as opposed to facing “out” towards the scenery. I did that and didn’t have any issues at all with my motion sickness. Furthermore, the character interaction was great and it was the best meal of our trip - very tasty food. Would recommend!
