Pls tell me is this a Buffet Place, cause I'm looking at menu on allears and they state "family platter"...which can be confusing Also, do you think they are so strict with age, as I have a 12yr child who would prefer to get chicken nuggets? Will they charge me for an adult price for him...can't see that!

Garden Grill is not a buffet, the meal is served family style. While your 12 yr old may eat items from the children's choices, he will be charged the adult meal price.

Disneymom is right...we just ate there in March. Everything is brought on platters and they charged us adult for our 11 yo...who is very short and could pass for 9!

When your server comes to your table - ask for adult platters and children platters. You can get both.
Our teens ate chicken fingers, mac&cheese, and french fries. They also tasted the steak on the adult platters and we parents snitched some mac&cheese for our plates.

It may not be buffet but it is still all you can eat. My DH and I did this earlier this month and we had a blast. They even seated us an hour before our actual ADR. We walked up and asked about it and were seated in less than 5 minutes. The only problem I had was all the noise. Other than that, it was a great place and DH wants to go back soon.

Whether a restaurant is buffet or family style you will be charged adult price for your 12 yo. You may request children's food or adult food be brought for him. Since it is family style, he could eat some of each!

GG is the one restaurant we go to each year -- we love it! Last year we paid adult price for our 10yo who ate the kids stuff and I didn't really mind.

Garden Grill is awesome!!! Love the food and the atmosphere can't be beat! It's all u can eat but its brought to ur table so its not buffett style. The characters are awesome and the rotating restaurant is great. Hope u enjoy!!
