Garden Grill - dinner only?

I have always wanted to try Garden Grill and I just noticed that they don't serve lunch. Is this a new thing? I thought I saw it opened during lunch before but maybe it was early dinner and I was just still thinking lunch?

Any reviews? We do not eat fish at all (I have an allergy, DH just won't touch it), would they let us just not get that portion?

This was one of our best meals on our trip in August. We loved it!!! The food was excellent! Even the kids mac & cheese was delicious- (kinda weird). I am sure they would accomidate your allergy. Just let them know. I think you may have to let them know ahead of time. Have a great time. I would def. recommend this restaurant!

It used to be open for other meals, but now it's just down to dinner.

As for your fish questions, I'm sure if you let it be known on your ADR about the allergy and then reminded your waiter/waitress about keeping the fish off your plate, it won't be an issue.

The food is nothing special, IMO. However, it is some of the best character interaction on property. Due to the shape of the restaurant (which rotates around scenes from LwtL), the characters are likely to come by multiple times and we have seen them 3 or 4 times in 1 dinner.

We love this meal and do it on most trips....the resturant will leave the fish off if you ask. As pp stated the food is ok but interaction and atmosphere is great!! Enjoy!

Garden Grill stopped serving lunch in October 2008.

We love this place! So much fun and the service was terrific!

Just let them know about your food allergies and they will make sure you don't get any fish at the table.

We ate here in April and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the character interaction was really nice. As two adults, we thought that they might see us, interact and move on but they did take time at our table to interact with us.

As far as the fish - we just don't like fish an asked for it to be left off our plate. It was no problem at all - they just omitted the fish from our dish.
