Garden Grill - Characters in December?

I have seen a few references to this but havent found a final answer...

Are they going to discontinue characters at Garden Grill in Epcot completely?

This was our favorite character meal (mainly cause the food was good as well as the character interaction)...so I'd love to know before our ADR date!

That's all that there's been. A few vague references on threads with no official word from Disney. There isn't even a credible rumor from a trusted spoiler site.

With such a lack of information, I'd make my reservations and not worry about it at all.

When I went to look on the Disney site it came up when I searched for Character Dining the first week of December, but when I click on the actual restaurant it says no characters....and characters subject to change...

it all seems very confused! =)

You can't go by what the Disney website says, it's wrong way too often. Just last week we had a thread full of folks rejoicing because the website was saying Liberty Tree had characters (well, they don't). With no backup information at all, I would say you shouldn't worry about it now.

Well I hope it's just a wrong rumor too! That's been our opening night meal- the characters are just so wonderful there and the boys just love seeing Mickey and the chipmunks as soon as we're there. Definitely would have to cancel if they take the characters away!
