I am starting to plan our trip for next January and trying to figure out where we want to eat this time. Last time we did the Cape May character breakfast but was thinking of doing a different one this time. Since we will be at the Beach Club, we can easily walk to EPCOT for an early reservation. Is Garden Grill any good?

We LOVED it! Simple food brought to your table and served family style. Character interaction is probably one of the best on property. The cinnamon bun and the warm nutella served with the waffles.....YUMMMMM.

Oh, and my youngest teen couldn't decide what he wanted to drink, so they brought him a canning jar mug of all three he was thinking about!

My husband would eat here every morning of every future trip if he could

I just did a review with pictures over on the review board, look for the Picky Kid (I haven't linked it in my sig). Probably our #1 favorite as well. As mentioned simple food but VERY well done! and PPO into Soarin' is the BEST way to start an Epcot day.

She enjoyed it very much as well. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. Very fresh fruit. The rest of the breakfast was wonderful too. And it was a ton of fun with the characters too.

Another "yes!" to GG breakfast here! LOVED the huge bowl of fresh fruit and the character interaction was a BLAST! We had a PPO in April. We filled up (including several cups of coffee :-) for me) and enjoyed meeting all the characters, then walked right on to Soarin'. The CM let us take care of the bill early on so we could head out as soon as we were done.....but we never felt rushed and it was a fun way to start the day.

I really loved it. In fact, the one food I can't wait to eat again is the cinnamon bun! LOL. I think it's a cool atmosphere, Chip and Dale are cute, and I like the food. The bowl of fruit was also very good. We asked for just strawberries and blueberries for the 2nd bowl because we mostly just ate those the first time and they brought us a bowl full. We are planning to go back for breakfast our next trip and would like to try dinner as well.

It's great. We were just there. Try to get the 8am reservation and show up first. You'll get to be family of the day and have a picture with all 4 characters right away. You should be done eating by about 8:40 and get on Soarin right away. It's a really nice and relaxing way to start your day.

Another vote for trying Garden Grill! We will be at Disney for 10 days in May/June, and have 2 PPO breakfasts scheduled. Food is very good, character interaction is the best and the early access to Soarin' is a sweet bonus!

We really enjoyed our Breakfast at Garden Grill, the fact the restaurant revolves is a bonus, we found it to be a bit of a "cool" factor. The characters were great, but my only issue was the booths, it was harder to get our DD in and out for photos than a normal table - but we can deal with that because the food was actually pretty good. That cinnamon bun was outstanding.

Garden Grill is one of our favorite. The food is your basic Disney breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs, Mickey waffles, fruit and the yummy cinnamon roll bake) but still really good. What makes it a standout for us is it has always been the best character interaction we have ever had at a meal. My son looks forward to it every trip to see what silly things Chip and Dale will do this time. We love the experience so much that it is the restaurant that we chose last year to have my son’s birthday cake delivered to.

Yes, I would definitely recommend it for breakfast! We went there for breakfast this past September and found it to be a fantastic experience. The food was all so good, and there was so much of it! Plus our waitress replenished our favorites throughout the meal (we may have a slight obsession with bacon and tater tots...). Also recommend the mimosas, those were great!

The best part about the experience though was since we were the first party seated that morning we got a special meeting with all the characters at once which was so awesome!

Also it was a fairly fast meal, I believe our ADR was for 8:05, but we showed up right around 8 to be seated, and we were finished and on our way to be first in line at a ride (or in our case the character meet) around 8:45ish. So it's a good option if you want to be one of the first in line for a ride that morning too.

We love Garden Grill!! A family favorite!! Breakfast is very good!! The cinnamon roll platter- YUM!! Fun character interaction too!!

Thanks! I think this is going on our short list. . We are only doing a couple table service and I think this will be our one breakfast.

Love GG breakfast! It is always on our list now. Like all said, basic breakfast, the cinnamon roll is amazing! Great character interaction, and at that early, you will probably see them more than once. On the last trip, it was not an quick as usual, and the CM gave us a anytime, any ride, FP! It was only 10 minutes longer than usual, but she knew what was happening. Great experience every time!

I have not done breakfast here, but the lunch was fantastic! I don't think you would go wrong based on the reviews in this thread. It's a great place!

The breakfast there is great! I highly recommend trying for a PPO reservation. Ours was a little after 8am, but they let us in at 7:45am with the 8am people. We were one of the first seated and it was really cool being in an almost empty park. We got to see the characters twice and had refills of some of the food and still got out in time to be the first on the Nemo ride.
