I just booked a trip for next summer and can start making my ADRs on Monday. I really haven't given any thought to meals because I didn't think we'd be traveling to the World next summer, but, thanks to changed plans, we are! Anyway, I remember hearing that GG is now serving breakfast. Is it a character breakfast? Are the reviews pretty good? I thought we'd give it a try since we are staying at the BC and can get there quickly.

We haven't done it but it is a character meal with chip and dale and Mickey. Reviews I've read have been pretty good with a sticky bun bake leading the food show. I'm not a buffet fan so I like that this one is served family style. Plan on trying it in April

We just had breakfast there and it was really good. The characters were good and we had a great server. It's definitely worth checking out!

Just wanted to chime in, we did a lot of character meals for our November trip (DH loves them). GG was one of my favorites. It was easy for the kids to jump out to meet the characters, they came by our table at least twice. I enjoyed the food. I hope you have a good trip and hope you enjoy breakfast!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm looking forward to it. :)

We ate breakfast at GG last week. It was delicious!! The sticky bun thing, the bacon & everything I ate was so good.
I love the juice they have too... Was like the Tusker House jungle juice.
The characters were great & the service excellent!
And getting to be the first to ride soaring that morning is a huge bonus too.
I'd say GG is my favorite breakfast that I've tried st Disney & I've gone to almost all of them that have characters.

We had the breakfast earlier this month and it was our favorite! Great character interaction, and the food was really, really, good! Being able to ride Soarin before the crowds arrived was a nice bonus!

We just ate at Garden Grill Yesterday. We all enjoyed it a lot. I would give it a solid 8 out of 10. We had a 8:25 reservation.

The meal is family style and starts out with a bowl of fresh fruit and a very large still warm cinnamon bun. My wife and youngest son went nuts for this. I don't normally eat Cinnamon buns but it was pretty dang good. The waitress was great she saw my son picking strawberries outta the fruit bowl and bought him a small bowl of just strawberries. The only negative I would say about the meal is I would prefer home fries to the tater tots that are on the family style serving plate.

We are seriously considering adding this to Via Napoli, and Kona Cafe as one of our "must do every trip" restaurants. The best part is it over looks one of our family's favorite rides.

So happy for the great reviews. My family and i have ressies for our trip in April.:flower1: I have a question about entrance before the park opens. We'll most likely use the International Gateway, will they let us in at 8am?

Thank you

Happy Holidays!

We are so excited to learn that GG has breakfast now! Thanks to all who added reviews here. Cannot wait to try it in June.

We were there last month and it became a new family favorite. Not only was the food fantastic but the characters were great too.

Thanks for all the reviews! I have a pre park opening breakfast scheduled in June and we are really looking forward to it!

Yes, we just stayed at the Beach Club and had an 8:15 ADR at Garden Grill. They let us through the International Gateway around 7:50. It took a good 20 minutes to walk to the Land. Another day when we didn't have an ADR, we entered around 7:40. They let you in when they receive an all clear call from the workers inside.
