Garden Grill at Epcot Closing

Did not know if you were all aware that the Garden Grill at Epcot was closing On Jan 2 for 3 months. And their servers from there that have been there for many many years are being sent to such places like the camp grounds to cocktail drinks there at night in the winter.

I know! We will miss the Garden Grill during our Feb trip....

I'm glad the servers will have jobs while the restaurant is closed!

I'm not planning on going during that time frame, but I have to ask. Are we sure it's re-opening? Are they just refurbing? We love this place.

I don't KNOW anything but I'm willing to bet that Garden Grill, Circle of Life, and the boat ride will survive intact. I think they are doing extensive remodeling downstairs in connection with Soarin', so the entire pavilion will be closed. Unfortunately the Sunshine Food Fair may bite the dust.

Yes, knew this months ago. I mentioned it before. The Land will be closed for 3 months which includes all rides/attractions and eating establishments. A total overall of the place as the finishing touches are done on Soarin'. We were just there last week and the hot air balloons are gone now, so they are starting now. I guess they were waiting for the holiday crowds to end. Can't wait to see the new refurbished "land".

I didn't know that... and I have to come here to get my information. Guess it makes sense, since they will be gearing up for the opening of Soaring Over California and will have to do much construction in that area. I love Garden Grille, and will miss going during that time.
