The garage door does open but one of the sensors' light is red and the other green. Should they both be green? Thank you!

Do you have 2 doors or one? If you have two, only the one operating lights up. At least that's how ours works. :)

But the one door almost always stops if the other is operating, which drives me bonkers.

ours are green and green. if you don't have small kids, duct tape the sensors together and mount them out of the way.

Please don't take this advice -- there is no reason to not mount the sensors properly. This is an easy installation and a small price to pay for peace of mind, regardless of the presence or absence of small children.

I'm pretty sure we have two different colored lights. One green and one amber.

We have one red and one green.

Will the door operate (open or close) if you hold in the button. If this is the case your sequencer board needs to be replaced.
