Has anyone had any experience with getting GAP passes for IA and US? I have a child with aspergers and thought that these might help us but I am not sure how they work. We were going to stay onsite for the FOTL because of my ds but if we could stay offsite to save some money but still have the ability to use some sort of fast pass, I think it would be worth looking into. With the expense of all his therapies, just looking for the most affordable way to go. Any thoughts on the GAP passes?

My son has ADHD and can be a real pain when waiting in lines. We have never used GAP at any of the parks since we just stay onsite. I would rather be safe than sorry having to show the card or explain the problem all day long. Also by staying onsite if they get tired you can go right back to the resort for down time or change of pace.:thumbsup2

I don't have a lot of experience on the GAP passes but since you're staying onsite and will have unlimited Express, that should cover waiting in lines...I would think anyway.

I was thinking to cut costs we could stay off site if the the GAP passes worked thr same as FOTL. It seems though that the best advice would be to stay onsite. I was hoping to make it less expensive somehow. We are planning on October.

There have been people who have gotten GAP passes for their children with Autism before. Hopefully someone will come on who has used it recently.

I seem to recall reading that the GAP passes for Universal involved receiving a time to return to the attraction, more like a Disney FastPass than the Universal Express. Someone will come along to clarify if this is correct or not shortly, but I seem to recall that this was the case :thumbsup2

That's exactly what I've heard as well.
