I'm going to post this on the Budget board too to get as many ideas as I can..........
My sons birthday will be here in two weeks, they are 3 years and 4 days apart, older is turning 5, younger is turning 2. I've decided to have a joint party for them, though that was a whole family discussion in itself. I got "scolded" by several family members that I would be traumatizing the boys by not giving them their own party.........but I decided one big party would be easier than bringing friends and family together 2 weekends in a row. I also am trying to keep it as separate as possible, for my older sons friends from Preschool I will be sending them an invitation for a party in just his name, for all friends and family that know both boys, their invitation has both boys names on it. I'll be getting them each their own cake (Power Rangers and Scooby Doo), with their own decorations................
Now, the hard part. How to entertain 20 little boys and girls ranging from 2 years old to 7 years old?!?!?!? I will be having the party at our church, in a fairly large open room, it does have a TV and one ping pong table (I forsee 15 kids fighting over the two ping pong paddles in my future).
Any ideas!?!?!! I really am not crafty or good at coming up with ideas.......my sons last two parties were at McDonalds---built in playground!!
thanks so much for your help
