Gameboys ???/

We are planning on buying our DD a Nintendo DS or Gameboy either at Gatwick or in Orlando does anyone know if there is any difference in the format of the games i.e. will we still be able to buy games for it over here if the console was bought in the US, or is it just DVDS you have to check. Thanks

You can play games from any countries. The only thing you need to take into account is that if you buy in the US you will only get a US charger. This means that you'll have to buy a UK one when you get back here. I think they retail at approx £20.

We bought our DD Nintendo DS from the US, the only thing that we had to buy for her to use it over here was the mains adapter from Game which was £6.00
I think its the same on that you use for the Gameboy SP

my son bought a game boy last Oct in orlando and it worked out very cheap( around $70). He got a US charger with it and we just had to buy a converting plug for him to use it in the UK. I would wait until you are in the US.

I got mine from Walmart, and a UK GBA power charger from Makro for £4.99+vat.

I would wait till your in Orlando and buy one from Target/Wal Mart. Ive never been over impressed with the prices in the Airport Dixon's etc....I think they try to give the impression that they are cheap because of their duty free nature, but it never seems much cheaper than the UK stores, if atall.

The power adapter/charger on the DS is the same as the Gameboy SP, so if you're just upgrading then you shouldn't have to worry about a new charger.

Thanks for all the advice will wait till we get there probably buy from Walmart so if there is a prob we can return it at Asda. We already have a gameboy so charger is no prob thanks for the tip.
