gameboy on Plane?

Can my son play his Gameboy on the Plane?(with the sound off, off course)

Yes, he can when the flight attendants make the announcement that you can use small electronic devices. It's usually made a short time after take off. And it needs to be turned off before landing.

My DS played his and wore earphones so he could have sound.

Just an FYI...if it's a GameBoyAdvance, you have to have the special adapter to use headphones - which we discovered at a friend's wedding reception...

Alas, we hadn't realized that key piece of information

They are relatively cheap. Toys Are us should have them, as should any retailer that sells game boys. (Target, MallWart, etc.)

They look like the thing on the left side of the package in the picture on this link. It plugs in to the bottom of the Game Boy and provides a headphone jack. This is for a Game Boy Advance SP if that's what you have.
