**Game - Interview the person below you**

I loved Home Economics (got a CSE1) and I loathed English Literature (failed miserably) but got an O level in English Language.

Are you going to WDW in 2005 ?

We are and we can't wait only about 7 months to go - yippee.

mandymouse:earsgirl:

No, not yet Mandy, no plans to go back in 2005..we are going in just over 2 weeks though :):)

Whats the longest time you have stayed in FL/WDW for?

We were lucky enough to stay for 4 weeks over Chirstmas 2000. Would love to do the 4 weeker again, but find it hard with schools etc..

::yes::

18 day's and can you believe at the time I said that was too long!!!!!!

What is your favourite food at Christmas?

I love all the cold buffet stuff. Bread, cheese, turkey, sausages etc.mmmmmmmmmmmm::yes:: :p

Have you bought any christmas pressies yet?

we've just bought one for DH's mum so far.

Verity.xxx

Yes, I'm about half way through my Christmas shopping list, just hubby to sort out now and we've got most of our DD's presents.

What do you do on Christmas Eve ?

We usually go bowling with the kids followed by a nice meal and a drinky-poo or two.

mandymouse:earsgirl:

We always have a nice evening in with a video and a few drinkies :)

Tradition states that you may not be totally sober when doing the Christmans Stockings LOL

Do your children still believe in Father Christmas?

Mine are 8 & 5 and they do (well, I think they do!)

No, sadly mine don't....I think thats when all the 'fun' goes out of Christmas...having to sneak around when they are in bed ;)

Do you like Chirstmas Pudding?

I dont, we usually have a gateaux or something like that. If we can manage it ;)

No, I am a Christmas Pudding Hater!! My mum does a lovely homemade ice cream usually instead, though there is also Chritmas Pud for those who want it :)

What is your favourite type of dessert?

This is a VERY hard one to answer but in general it would be something involving cream. caramel and pastry :) :)

LOL Karen, yes that would do for me too...maybe with a hint of chocolate too ;)

What do you have to drink with your Christmas Dinner?

We usually have a nice bottle of Asti Spumante.....the kids love it :D

SNAP !! Squitty,

We too have a bottle of Asti Martini Spumante for both Christmas and Boxing Day. In between it's pineapple Bacardi Breezers - we literally have a Very MERRY Christmas:crazy:

Do you open all your presents on Christmas morning, or do you have a little ritual the evening before or later in the day ?

We open all ours on Christmas morning (which seems to be done in record time each year) except for my parents presents that come on Boxing Day.

mandymouse:earsgirl:

We open ours on Christmas morning and are very civil, taking turns. I love Christmas morning!

Do you always have turkey for Christmas dinner?

we do!

Verity.xxx

Yes we always have Turkey. Its tradition ;)

Do you have a New Years Day dinner?

We always have one, we might be a little 'hungover', but always enjoy a nice roast dinner, starts the year off nicely :D

we usually have a roast of some description. On Boxing day my dad makes battered turkey and home amde chips. YUM!!!!!

What do you do on boxing day?

We try to go for a long walk and then usually to the football. family dinner at night.

Verity.xxx

Usually open the rest of our pressies - we never get round to opening them all on Christmas Day!!

Who draws the short straw and drives on Christmas Day or do you take it in turns or stay at home?

Luckily for me all my folks live within walking distance so there is never too far to stagger on the Merry Day (though we used to live a way away and then took it in turns each year)

Christmas Day in our house is just for us. We see all the family on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day, and when we go out on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve we alway get a taxi, so we can all have a few drinky-poos.

Do you go 'trick or treating' at Hallowe'en ?

I hate Hallowe'en (except if I'm at WDW), and I don't answer my door that evening.

mandymouse:earsgirl:

I love Halloween :) I don't trick or treat but I love this little kiddies coming to the door - not the big teenagers who just put on a scream mask though!

Do you get excited with Bonfire night and the fireworks? I always try to compare them to WDW - no comparison really LOL

No I hate it cos they are not wdw fireworks!!!!

However, we did see alton towers FW's last year and they were very good.

Do you have any pets?

We don't but Simon's mum has a lovely lurcher called Charlie

Verity.xxx

I've got two cats called Gracie and Chloe.

What's the most valuable thing [monetary or sentimental] that your pet has destroyed?

Mine would be that Chloe destroyed a beautiful footed Lenox compote that my mom and dad got as a wedding present in 1965. She just shoved it off the counter one day. Broke into a zillion pieces. Sigh ....

I would say my peace of mind, when my hamster escaped!! I'd just had him a couple of weeks and DH was not convinced about the whole pet thing.. and then he was away on a business trip and Max decided to go walkabout... I didn't dare tell him, and luckily I found Max before DH came back - he was in the drinks cupboard!!

Material stuff would have to be all the electric cables my rabbit chewed through! cost me a small fortune!

If you could go on a wildlife watching trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I'd be off to antarctica to see the penguins!!

Sorry, bit if I want to see animals then I'll go to Animal Kingdom, and if I want to see Polar Bears I'll go to SeaWorld. I don't really have any ambition to see wildlife in 'the wild'.

What WDW event would you like to visit ?

We're hoping that the Star Wars Week-ends are on next May, and we have enjoyed MVMCP and the Food & Wine Festival.
