The last book i read was

The Forgotton Soldier by Guy Sajer.

The story of a German/French boy who was drafted to German army to drive supplies and ended up in the specialised Gross Deutchlanders on the Russian front. This is a harrowing true story.

Tells war how it was gruesome.....Recommended because it shows that the Germans were humans too.


My Question... This is biased for my own means....

You want healty food near I dive etc Where do YOU GO?

If you could go on a WDW ride with a celebrity, which ride and celeb would it be ?

The only 'celeb' I have seen in Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane, apart from MM that is.

We've got loads of WDW photos, y'know the usual Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, RnRc and Test Track. Unfortunately our scanner doesn't work anymore so I can't load them on the computer.

Which WDW ride would you like to go on with a Disney character ?

I'd love to do Splash Mountain with Brer Fox, Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit.

Oh for me it would have to be Mickey Mouse on Splash Mountain(though it would be great to have the Brers in the log too! Can you imagine how cool that ride photo would be?!)

What's your favourite holiday destination that is not Disney related?

For a city break it would have to be New York, otherwise, Mexico. White sand, blue seas, a pina colada and a good book. BLISS!!!

Whwn did you last "get away"?

we went to N. Ireland for my cousins wedding at the weekend and had a FAB time. Isn't it great to get awat even for a couple of days.

We went to Budapest for a long weekend in July. It was great, even though it was HOT, HOT, HOT! We used to go away a lot, but since DH is starting up his own business we're strapped for time, cash & motivation!

If you could start up your own business, what would you like to do?

I'd love to be an event planner & do themed parties & such.

ooh planning parties sounds fun though i've always wanted to run my own net/gaming cafe, may do so in the future. many years ahead of me yet

If you could have a birtyday party in any of the parks in orlando which would it be and why?

for me it'd have to be islands of adventure or maybe at a stretch MGM. i love those coasters and doing that with a huge group of friends would be fun. its a shame by bday isnt in october as i'd love to have my party at a HHN

EPCOT. I'd do the Segway tour to begin with a snack lunch at the rose and crown. Shopping round the world with my birthday $$$ in the afternoon. Garden Grille for dinner and IllumiNations to finish the day.

I WISH!!!! My birthday is only 2weeks away and I don't think that will be my surprise. i can always dream! LOL

If you had to be anywhere in WDW right now where would you be?

I'd be front of the queue for splash mountain with FP's ready for BTM.

What's the most unexpected thing that's happened to you when on holiday?

Ours was being upgraded to PE on the flight out!

When DH proposed on the balcony of our hotel at Marco Island! Very romantic, and unexpected! Got married (also in Florida) a year later (and Virgin didnt upgrade US to PE!)

Next question. What was the last DVD you bought?

Mine was Cat In The Hat for DD. Looking forward to Shrek 2 that is released in November!!

While in WDW is there a special spot that you always take a photo of?

We always like to take the 'partners' statue near the castle in MK.

We always take a photo of JJ with the DVC sign/statue/topiary of the resort we're staying at.

And of course various photo's of JJ with cakes, donuts, cocktails etc always seem to find their way into the collection.

Digital pix good old film,video or a combination?

I took lot's of digital last time and then erased them all!! We do a combination depending on the trip.

I love my photos, so I usually take about 300 and then we also have a few hours of video too. We love to take photos in the same places to see how the girls have grown or how grey we have become - boo hoo.

Have you had the 'vow renewal' at the Ice Cream Social ?

I would love to do this, but I think DH might die of embarrassment.

I would like to be a teacher

Did any of your teachers at school inspire you to learn more about their subject?

The one that sticks in my mind was my old French teacher, Miss Stewart. She was fantastic!

My other one is my old primary school headmaster who is a very inspirational, charasmatic and unusual fellow. He is now, luckily, my DD's headmaster

I had lots of great teachers, that's how I've ended up as one. Thanks for that!!!! The best teacher I had was Mr Matthews who taught history, he made it so much fun and I was SO into history. I hope I touch some pupils along my way!!!

What was your favourite and least favourite subject at school?

My fave was history (see above). My least favourite was maths. Ogre of a teacher and I just didn't and still don't get maths.
