Gallbladder out Dining Plan im worried, TMI warning

I 100% agree with Questran! I had my gallbladder removed several years ago and had to take this medication for several months after. It really did help me lots! I also have other stomach problems too, that are unrelated to that, but I started having a few issues on our trip a couple of weeks ago and I just took 1/2 dose of immodium before I ate lunch and then another 1/2 dose before dinner and this did the trick. Good luck!:)

I had my gallbladder out at 16, got married at 18, and my husband has his out at 19 (it was contagious :lmao:).

Now, over five years later for both of us, we eat whatever we want. We can have the occasional McDonalds and we eat pizza all the time (not Krispy Kremes, though...I don't know why they don't work for us...). Anyway, I'm not speaking about Disney, but I *am* speaking about life. It gets better. I promise, it does!!
@texaslady22 Did you both have digestive upset after surgery as well?

How can a thread come back from 2009?!

I sincerely hope op is doing alright.
I feel I need to post an answer to the query from many years ago:

In 2004 I had my gallbladder removed

I had many issues afterwards and required additional surgery

I have digestive issues/tummy troubles which are far worse now than before I had gallbladder removed

10 years later-i had gallstones once again...

During this time we have had many trips to wdw. I eat what I want;when I want & never had an issue.
I do indeed know where all the bathrooms are locally and in the parks!

To quote my doctor; I’m a volcano waiting to erupt!!
Thanks for asking-I basically eat a very limited diet and have many foods I specifically steer clear of; unfortunately sometimes I can be caught out by my ‘safe’list.
I actually had a drain fitted after my initial surgery and still managed the gross diarrhoea you speak of-ugh.
My body decided to revolt and I’m currently the polar opposite and suffer from constipation.
Totally tmi!!!!

Citrus fruits are completely off limits-I used to love oranges-therefore if you are still enjoying those;maybe try and cut out/down.
Hope your body calms down soon .
