Gallagher girl spy book series for what age?

My 11 yo daughter has asked to order these books by Ally Carter. One is titled- Don't judge a girl by her cover.

Any thoughts? I haven't heard of them before.

Oh, I love the Gallagher Girls.

It's a school for Exceptional Girls who are learning to be CIA Agent type spies.

I can't remember reading anything in one that a Mom would really object to. Things like a girl sneaks out of the school to go on a date with a townie boy and kisses him .... but hey, they're Spy Girls - what do you expect?

Thanks. I can get 3 from Scholastic for $12. The flyer says "some mature content" and I wasn't sure exactly what they mean by that but they're recommended for 6th grade and up.
