For those going October - December 2019, I’m curious ~ are you hoping Galaxy’s Edge is open or not for your trip?

Well, I timed my Christmas at WDW trip for this year, in part, because it's right before Galaxy's Edge opens. Next year will be crazy. My next WDW trip will probably be 2021, I won't miss that celebration for anything! Oh, and I voted "Yes, I hope i

We are going Oct 2019 because that's when the stars aligned and we can make it work. At first, I was hoping that we would avoid the craziness and beat the opening. But I've decided that there's fun in being among the first to experience it too, so we will just manage expectations if it opens and enjoy whatever we can.

If you're going on OCT19, you should just hope it is actually open so you can experience it first! At least I would.

Need a third option. I can’t decide. I really want to check it out but I’m thinking the costs will jump once they announce the date for the tickets and it will be stupid busy.

I am planning on going to a conference Nov. 4-8 and trying to decide whether to do Disney before or after. I’m torn right now which way to go.

It will be extremely busy, but if I was there, I would go anyway. I myself wouldn't plan the actual trip to WDW the month (or even months after) Galaxy's Edge opens, BUT if I had a business trip to Orlando and it was already open, I would probably go anyway just to see it.

I'm really hoping it's open before December, or December 14th at the latest. I'm looking to book a trip Dec 6 to Dec 14, because it's our anniversary, but also because we want to go to Galaxy's Edge when it opens. Winter doesn't start until December 21st, so I hope they didn't mean the very last week of fall when they said fall of 2019.
