Thanks so much Tracy! You always have something kind to say
After taking the kids to school...I came home and slept from 8:30 to 11...got up..felt a little better...ate a bowl of RaisinBran, then decided I was going to Curves. Didn't feel great..but I went. Kids got out early today, so went to pick up oldest DS and ran him around, then picked up my other two children, ran to the grocery store for a few things..made a salad at the salad bar and just finished eating it! Actually starting to feel more normal.
This next part is about my stresses...I'll try to be brief, but who knows.
1. Of course, looking for a lot to build this house is making me crazy!
2. This is the winded part...last week I'm online and see an ad for flowers and I decided to order flowers for my mom for V.D. Then 2 days later I decide to order flowers for grandma too. I end up having to pay $5 extra since it was Friday by this time. Okay...V.D.comes and Grandma gets her flowers around 10 a.m. Had mom's delivered to work...so when I track them around 3:30, says they are out for delivery..okay...but mom gets off work at 4..so I call the flower people...get a nice guy who contacts the flower delivery to let them know to deliver them at home. I tell him that grandma got her flowers at 10 and it's the same zip code etc. He's having a time w/ the company because it is V.D. I understand completely. So he tells me to call back at 7 if they are not delivered because they will probably be the next day if so. Of course I am upset because I could have had them delivered the sat. before for a lesser cost. Anyway...he seems very understanding. And I now have to tell mom I sent her flowers...ruin the surprise...but this is when I find out that grandma called her at work to tell her about the flowers I sent to her. Call back at 7 and get a guy who sounds like he's reading a script...I told him I understand that they won't delivered until the next day...he assures me that they will be delivered no matter what time on V.D. I had serious doubts. Then he offers me 20% in a gift cert for my troubles! The nerve...I spent from 3:30 to 8 p.m. dealing w/ looking for these flowers! See what happens when I'm being lazy and ordering online!
Okay...next day...still NO flowers...I'm getting upset...call the company again..on the phone another 30 minutes and get a nice girl who is having them redelivered talked to florist and they would be right out! Called mom to tell her...as of 6 p.m. NO flowers!! So, I call back again...get a man who reads all the notes on the order and can't believe what I'm going through...tells me I'm being a very good sport about it, etc. He says he's going to take care of me, that it should not have gone this far. He cancels the first order, places a new order w/ a new florist, gives me my money back, gives me a $30 gift certificate and sends flowers to my mom for free. Then he calls my mom to tell her about it all and apologizes to her. I thought that was awesome of him to do. But it was still a stressor for me! I did spend a lot of time on terminal hold and trying to get through...talked to 4 different people...but it was handled. I told them that the only reason I would use their business again is because my grandma loved her flowers and I understood it was V.D.
Whew...sorry that was so long! But it's out there...and it was so simple...but still a stressor!
Have a great day!
Oops...I forgot to add...mom got the flowers at work at 11 this morning and said they were beautiful!
