Had my weigh in today...down another 2.5!!! So, my total is 12.5!!

Measurements:

Chest....Last...40....Now...39

Waist....Last....37.5..Now...37

Hips....Last....44.....Now....43

Thighs...Last..25.5 Now...25.5

So...that's 2.5 inches lost. I'm happy with that!

Let the confessing begin.......

We went out for pizza & beer last night!Agghh!! Even ate a couple of leftover slices today for lunch!! Double Agghh!!! We watched a movie last night and had some munchies....I know...smack my hand please!

On the plus side, I did exercise late this afternoon...2 Mile WATP and some arm weights...and to make things worse...I felt like I was gonna puke from the pizza...it felt like this dead weight in my tummy!

Now onto tonight...my 2 DS's are spending the night at Gma's and DD is at a slumber party. So, no kids! DH and I are going to dinner later...don't know where yet. I'm not making any promises...I'll just try my best. And tomorrow I'm going to that wonderful brunch! This is such an awful weekend for eating. But after this weekend...my food will be back in check.

Sorry to disappoint...but I had to be honest! Hope everyone else is doing better than me this weekend.
 

The weekend just continued miserably! DH and I went to eat at Chili's and ate awfully! Then to top it off...we went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. Let's just say...we both felt so sick to our stomachs! Today wasn't really so bad...we went to the yummy brunch and I didn't overdo it. What I ate wasn't exactly OP...but I didn't stuff myself either. And then we had Chinese for dinner. I vow to be back OP tomorrow! Didn't get any exercise either, but that was planned. Expect to see me exercising like a nut this week!! I'm so close to my challenge goal.

Got in 70 minutes of exercise today! Have dinner planned out for today and tomorrow. Things are looking back to normal for me! TOM will visit sometime this week...so of course weigh in on Friday will probably not be great...not to mention how lousy I did this weekend...but it's over...I'm on track and back in a groove.

I saw your exercise post on the challenge thread. You're getting in a LOT of exercise lately.

TOM visited me today a few days early. My dr. had me on a medication that's screwing up my schedule. When I think about it, I think I'm just becoming more "normal" with a 28 day cycle instead of a 35-40 day cycle. Heck. I still blame it on him because now I want to be uterus free sooner in the month! LOL. The hormones must be making me crazy.
 
Got in 45 minutes today of exercise!

Had an ultimate challenge today...a friend and I were hosting a welcome back luncheon for the teachers at school and of course there was SO much good food. I am proud to say that I behaved myself!!! I even had to cut this massive cake and it smelled so good....I wanted to lick my hands or the knife...LOL but I didn't:crazy:

I'm really proud of myself today. I just kept thinking about how I had worked out earlier and didn't want to mess it up!

Yesterday was a good day...got in my exercise in the morning...then took the kids school shopping...then my bowling league started last night. Crazy day...but still ate OP!!!

DD had her weigh in...no loss...no gain! So happy for her!

Today is orientation day! My oldest DS is going to high school and his orientation is today. My next DS is in his second year of middle school and is tagging along with a friend for the friends orientation...then my DD has her meet the teacher day today. This is the only year that I will have my kids in 3 different schools! I'm sure I will be a basket case trying to keep it all straight.

Congratulations to Amanda!! She's holding her own and that's great!! I hope you've introduced her to the tape measure. During the weeks that the scale stays the same, sometimes the inches are melting away - are her clothes getting looser?? I just don't want her to lose motivation on those weeks when the scale doesn't move down.

You had quite a time last weekend! :teeth: Please know that you never have to feel bad about posting those things to your journal. You are not letting us down! This journal is primarily for you and you need to be totally honest here. We've all been through those kinds of weekends. ::yes::

I am so happy to see that you're back on track and resisting temptation!! You are a strong woman, Gail!!

It sounds like you'll be a busy mom this school year but I know you'll do a great job juggling everyone's schedules.

You're doing fabulously with all of your exercise minutes that you've been putting in. If you had stuck to your original goal, you would have already EXCEEDED that goal! You're so close to your revised goal; you'll probably reach it by the weekend.

Keep it the great work!
 
Well...today was weigh in day...I really wasn't looking forward to it. After last weekend and TOM coming by yesterday...I am happy to report only a 1 lb gain. I'm hoping for the WHOOSH next week. I know I will not make my goal for the Labor Day Challenge. But I'm not giving up. There are days I get so mad at myself for having some bad weekends..but then I think about it a little more and I realize that I've still lost weight. And I think doing it at a gradual pace and allowing myself some bad days helps keep me focused other days. I don't feel like I'm depriving myself. I have learned to appreciate how good I feel on days that I don't eat bad. Today marks 7 weeks! That's the longest I've stuck to a diet since I lost 100 lbs about 3 years ago!

I stayed the same in measurements in the Chest and waist, but lost half an inch in the hips and three quarters of an inch in the thigh. I am actually feeling this in my clothes. I look so frumpy most days because I don't even want to try on my smaller clothes until I hit Onederland! Before I was down to almost a 10...I could put them on...but they were tight and uncomfortable. So, I have a variety of clothes! I got rid of all my clothes that ranged from 18 to 28...but kept the 16's! This time...once I get back down to the 10/12 range...I'm getting rid of those 14/16 clothes!!! Right now I've been living in my exercise clothes...usually stretchie shorts and baggy t-shirts! As school starts and I have to go back to work...I'll have to start trying on my work clothes.

Saturday has been okay...nothing too crazy...got in my exercise...been eat okay all day...not overdoing it.

My daughter has lost another pound...even though it isn't weigh in day...she's a scalaholic too! She was so excited to see it go down a whole pound! Her clothes really are getting loose on her. She tried on a pair of shorts the other day that were pinching her in the belly...they are falling off her!! I'm just so excited to see her making healthier choices and not gorging her food anymore!!

I'm glad to hear that Amanda's getting excited over her weight loss. It'll take a while for her to lose the weight but I bet once she does, she'll keep it off. I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be a skinny teenager and you'll be begging her to wear clothes that cover some skin. LOL.
