VMK, why do you do this?! I'm playing fireworks for the quest, it's the very end of the game, the last firework has gone and I'm waiting for the scores. Then- DC! This has happened to me all day! End of Jungle Cruise for a quest- before it can get counted, DC! I get DC at the worst possible times! Arrrgghhhh....... maybe instead of making good pirate games annoying they should try to work on the problem of dc! If it ain't broke, don't fix it, if it IS broke, FIX IT!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. I thought about starting a thread but didn't want to be the "complainer".

Honestly, fireworks used to be my favorite game but each time these quests require a high score, I can't get to a high enough level with so many ppl playing. This morning after playing over and over I finally made it to 155 and at the end of the round I d/c!! I haven't been able to score up to 150 ever since then. It certainly is frustrating and makes the game not so much fun anymore.

Personally I think 150 is a bit high to require when so many ppl are playing it at once....or they should at least allow more people access to the next levels.

I really think they need to deal with their server issues, it's so annoying. But the other thing that's making me really mad is how every time I play haunted mansion to get the 15 ghosts for that quest, the other team quits so even though I got enough it doesnt' count. EVERY TIME! That is over three times now in a row. They should make it count for quests when the other team quits and you still got enough. GRRR.

I feel your pain! I have played Haunted Mansion 3 times in a row for the other player to get either DC or they leave. I think they get DC. And then all those ghosts you have don't count toward the quest. Also, arg the new pirate game. Sorry for those of you who like it but I find it very hard to get around while playing. And then alot of times you get stuck or just get the good ol' DC. And then fireworks has been freezing so bad along with the DC. Well good luck everyone!

I agree, but they only way they might change it is to write vmk using the link on the front page of vmk. I have just gotten though writing them, but they need to hear from many people.

It's server issues? I just thought there was a VMK_cast member watching me get my personal best high scores and pushing that dc button at the most inopportune time! It's happened to me three times today, I was sure I was just getting some VMK special attention!

When 5 star DC magic just isn't enough ...
(ok, it's just not funny when it is happening to you, though, is it?! )

I can totally relate! Spent most of the day (sadly) trying to get the quest pins but had the worse time getting the 15 ghosts in the Haunted Mansion. In all of the games I played, the other person either quit or dc. I had to tell my DD that I couldn't get her one of the pins. I get her most of the other quest items so she wasn't too sad about it...but the yelling (at the computer) did upset her a bit!

Good Luck with writing to VMK. Every time I've written it either reaches the black hole or I get a non-response....meaning the response is in no way helpful.

My recommendation (and it's what I do every time) I do the quest up until I see the "no timelimit" and call to play a game and I hit PF5 to refresh so I have a all new fresh DC clock..I haven't had any trouble since!

I always refresh after playing a game &/or beginning another...or if I haven't refreshed in a while (Actually, it was Disneyllama who told me that you should refresh after 2 games of fireworks, so you don't dc on next game ). About a month ago there wasn't as much dc'ing as there is now, so if you don't refresh often, vmk will make you refresh lol.
