Gagets for the cruise?

Our cruise is coming up quickly. We are the 11/2 eastern. We are starting to think seriously about the things we are going to take with us. I had read about the over the door shoe holder to store stuff because of the lack of space. We got one!

Are there any other "things" that we should look into and get before departure? We can handle the obvious stuff. It's the more bizarre little things that I am looking to find out about (like the shoe holder).

All thoughts appreciated.....

Not sure if this is a bizarre little extra or a common thing, but you might want to take a 6 or 8' extension cord. The outlets tend to be in weird places. You might not need it, but better to have it than not

Binoculars might come in handy and be worth bringing, especially if you have a really compact set.
