GAD voucher FP option

I planned on using 2 of my GAD vouchers to upgrade to 3 day hoppers and 3 of them to turn in for the FP option (I bought (3) 3 day hoppers at Last Minute Travel already that included a magic morning) Now I don't think we can get magic mornings on our upgraded GAD vouchers so I am wondering if I buy (2)3 dayhoppers in advance can I trade in all 5 of our GAD vouchers for FP option, using 2 GAD vouchers on one day? As I understand it, everyone in the party will get the FP option so if 2 of us each turn in a GAD voucher, will we all be able to get 2 FP cards?

You can turn in all of your GAD vouchers for FP's. But, all the fastpasses must be used the same day so I would space them out. And yes, everyone in your party will get the fastpasses - we even had a group of 7 which is one more than they say they will give and they were able to be them to us all. Now everyone one of the party must be present because they scan everyone's admission ticket which spits out the Fastpass card (this is at City Hall). You then take the Fastpass card to the tour window next door and that is where you get the individual fastpasses. For each card you turn in, they give you 3 of Donald's favorites and 3 of Daisy's favorites.

I wrote my post in a rush earlier so I want to be sure my question is clear...

we have 3 days at DLR. We have 5 GAD vouchers. If we turn all the vouchers in for FP option, I plan to space them out but since we only have 3 days to enter the parks, 2 of the days we will be (attempting) to turn in 2 GAD vouchers for FP options
for example:

DAY 1

person 1 turn in GAD voucher, gets all 5 of us FP card
person 2 turn in GAD voucher, gets all 5 of us FP card

DAY 2

person 3 turn in GAD voucher, gets all 5 of us FP card
person 4 turn in GAD voucher, gets all 5 of us FP card

DAY 3

person 5 turn in GAD voucher, gets all 5 of us FP card

so essentially on days 1 and 2 we will all have 2 FP cards. Will that be allowed?

also, I didn't realize you had to turn in the FP card at the tour windowI had assumed you just put the card in at the ride you wanted FP for and it "deducted" your FP from that card. So you have to choose which rides in advance you want FP for? I'm so confused!

Yes, it is allowed to turn in 2 vouchers for FP's in one day. They way they work is that you can pick only of the rides listed on that FP at any time. You can even use all three of your Daisy's FP's for Buzz if you want. So you don't pick in advance, you just use them for the rides listed on the FP. Maybe a photo of the fastpass will help:

Hmm, 7 Donald's Favorites but only 5 Daisy's favorites?
That Daisy is a bit of a ride wimp.

it's too bad they didn't even out the lists out by moving one more ride onto Daisy's favorites list (Roger Rabbit perhaps?)

That way if you traded in 2 vouchers on the same day, you'd be able to get one FP for every FP attraction.
I still remember the trip we had the old unlimited fastpass option. Huge thumbs up, and you'll have it even better with the immediate return time on the GAD FP's. I think you'll have a great time cepmom!

I was thinking the same thing! Seems like all the best rides are Donald's!
And I use to book with AAA specifically to get the "enhanced" fastpass option - boy I miss it!

The GAD fastpasses are totally separate from the regular FP. You can still get regular FP in addition to the GAD FP.

You can also exchange your GAD vouchers for a pin set. We had 4 vouchers did 3 days of FP and got 1 pin set. The third day we did the FP we got most of them handed back to us to reuse because the lines were pretty short.

You can also exchange your voucher at a ticket window if you are there before the gates open. They give each person in your party a card and you exchange them at the tour gazebo for the passes.

We had one CM had them back to us thinking we were suppose to reuse it all day!
