GAD upgrade to water park AP?

Interesting question, but I'd have to say no. The GAD voucher entitles you to a one day ticket to one of the four main parks (it is equivalent to a one day MYW ticket). Since the MYW ticket doesn't allow entry to the water parks and vice versa, I'd think you couldn't upgrade to a WP AP since you have to use the GAD ticket for admission to a main park. Seems like you would have to upgrade to a premium annual pass, which allows for admission to the main parks and the water parks.

You could add WPFM for 55.38 and get two entries to the water parks, but they would expire in 14 days.

CF has said before that it can't be done. In general, you can't upgrade a ticket that has one kind of entitlement (i.e. a major park day) that has been used to another ticket that doesn't include that entitlement.

For example, you can't upgrade a MYW w/WPFM where you've used a WPFM option to a standard AP, you have to go to the Premium AP which also includes the water parks/DQ, etc.

And you can't apply the GAD voucher to a water park ticket either...it is ONLY good for a 1-day admission to one of the 4 major parks (or one of the alternate options if you have a multi-day ticket already).

Definite no.

The GAD ticket must be used at one of the Theme Parks for it to be valid for an upgrade. An exception is made for upgrades to an AP or other date-limited pass, such as the Armed Forces Salute or the Dream Pass. But again these tickets are initially valid only for the Theme Parks.

At the water parks an unused GAD ticket has no value. And if you had a used ticket the only thing I could upgrade you to that would allow water park entry would be adding the WPF&M option or upgrading to a Premium Annual Pass
