GAD fastpass swapping?

Would it be inappropriate to use these boards to inquire whether another group will be going at the same time as you, to see whether you could each tag along on the other's fastpass group? (E.g., I have a voucher for day 1, and I allow another family to get fastpasses with me, and they do the same for me on day 2.)

Anything immoral about this?

smart thinking! ;) I wouldn't call it immoral.... but there are a lot of rule followers here on this board that might object.... but I get you get a bunch of PM's from people who might want to join up with you on your trip ;)

I don't mind the people who get hyper about rules and stuff on these boards. Sometimes it can get a bit pedantic, but sometimes they'll make a point that is a good one and it never hurts to be willing to listen, IMHO.

I guess my view on this particular issue is this: What if you have some friends you made last time you were in WDW and so you plan to go back at the same time? I can't imagine anyone would say it's wrong for those two families to combine to use their GAD fastpasses. So, is it really different if you make a new friend on disboards a couple of weeks before your trip and do the same thing? How about if instead of a trade, a good samaritan simply posted that they were going to WDW solo on X days with GAD fastpasses and if someone wanted to join -- no quid pro quo -- they would get them fastpasses too if they would meet at 8:30 a.m. That would certainly be more altruistic than what I'm proposing, but to the extent there are "rules" here, that would be breaking them just as much as a "swap." So, my immediate instinct would be that it's not wrong -- at the end of the day it's not all that different from a family of 6 getting 6 vouchers and each using them for fastpasses on a different day.

All that may be besides the point, though -- I could see where the board moderators would decide whatever the ethics involved they don't want this board to turn into a bartering board or anything like that. That's why I didn't post dates or anything or give details, and instead asked it as a general question. But I wonder whether it might be worthy of a thread -- like the threads in other forums for people not using disneyland Toontown early entries or AAA parking, etc.
