GAD blockout June 21

I remember a thread here about the GAD blockout on June 21 & 22nd. Other than the fact that WOC is opening the week before (something they didn't know about when they blocked those days out--it was supposed to debut in April at that point) and ap's aren't blocked yet, what else is going on? There's only a few gad blockout days so there must be something else too. I've looked at conventions and it doesn't tell me much, I don't have an unofficial guide this year so I don't know how big those conventions are. We will have our gad fast passes that day, but won't be arriving until afternoon at least. Do you think they will stop letting people in at some point? If they do--historically at about what time do they do that?

6/21 & 6/22 are the last 2 days that SoCal & SoCal select AP holders can come until the end of summer. This historically makes for much larger crowds - especially later in the day. We were there last year at the same time and by mid afternoon, it was crazy. We will be there again at that time this year. By getting to the parks at opening and collecting fastpasses to use in the evening, we still can do all that we want to.

It's the last days for the cheapest passes, but not for the next level up. Their last days are Sun-Wed. 2th-30th. There was something else I think I remember Hydroguy mentioning but I can't find the post.
