Day Seven - Thursday May 2
Trip was from April 26th to May 3rd.
This is our last full day. We plan on the pool, then AK to see the parade and then to EPCOT. Tradition is EPCOT on the last night.
I brought up some eggs, bacon, hash browns from Roaring Forks. We had slept til 8:30 again. So we got up and headed for the quiet pool.
Andie went to video tape the lodge and I continued to read the Hobbit. I've read this before, many years ago but it is good easy reading.
We relaxed a bit then headed out for AK. Bus went direct, only took us 12 minutes. Went to Dinoland area. Got FP for Twirl, then did some games. I won a game and walk around the rest of the day with this fish hanging off my butt. I looped it onto my fanny pack. One CM came up and asked me if I knew I had a fish hanging from my rear end. tee hee.
Did the Dino ride, I like this ride. This time, in the picture, I looked cool and Andie looked frightened. Needless to say, we did not get any pictures of us from any of the rides. tee hee.
Went back to twirl and it was down. We then went and got a bite to eat at Flame tree BBQ. We decided to sit down by the water, since it would be cooler here. Yea, right. The only thing that cooled us off was the misty fan. Glad again I bought this.
The ribs were excellent, Andie had the combo, good too.
We then did Bugs life, love that show. Beauty and the Bees. cute, music and cute signs. Flights of wonder was next on our way to Africa to set up for the Parade. Got more ice cream, definitely gotta go back on that diet when we get home.
Got FP for the Safari then watched the parade. Misty fans handy again. Great Parade. Love them all. After the Parade we tried to catch the gorilla's on the Pangari trail, but they must have already gone home. Then Safari. There were more animals this time of the day. Saw the Cheetah's, elephants, Lions, lots of animals.
Headed back for the Lodge, quick shower then off to EPCOT.
Did not too Test Track, we did not get to EPCOT in time for FP. I did get my troll in Norway, I have a collection. The parade had started and we watched it as we drank Margaritas.
We watched Illuminations from the walk way back to Future World, Not a bad spot.
We were on the first bus out of EPCT and back to the lodge by 9:30, we did the hot tub and the pool. This is our last night.
Tomorrow we leave, but back to MK first.
Mousekeeping had the boats again and this time with a turtle.
