GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad: I cant believe this keeps happening. This seller advertises it as a reusable fastpass.
I turned it in to ebay last night but it is still on there.
Anyone have any suggestions how to get this removed? ( BTW, I did not contact the seller. I have read the other post where people did and know not to do that)
He only wants $400 for it  :sad2:
This disgusts me, as do the auctions for the re-entry passes and ride switch passes. I wish Disney would step up and stop this!

How absolutely disgusting. I wish Disney could prosecute them for selling something not sale-able...and also ban them. I can't believe what *bleep*bleeps* some people are.

This is disgusting.

I know that on the European sites of Ebay (ebay.nl , ebay.de etc.) there are also posting-boards like this. Ebay is laks on reacting on sellers who break the rules, but it seems to help if they get overwhelmed with complaints about the same user. So what to do? Go on those boards, and post this on there. The more Ebay-ers complaint, the better! I don't know if you are allowed to put a link on here, but if you send it to me in a PM, I'll put in a complaint also.

I did an eBay Search on "reusable fastpass" and the one item came up. I submiited a report on it also. This 120130575763 was the item number

Come on people, let's all put a report in.

(allready got 4 PM's within no time with the link, so there are anough out there acting on it. :grouphug: )

The last time that someone was selling a GAC on ebay, Michigan posted the email that she received from ebay about how to report it.

I got a response from EBAY about GAC's
Here is a copy of the email I got from EBAY that tells us what to do the next time we find someone selling a GAC. Basically when you click on the link you go down to the entertaiment section and click on Disney and they will take care of it for us.

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to a listing which infringes Disney's intellectual property rights.

I recognize your frustration and apologize that a more concise option was not available as you reported this item.

When you come across an item that you believe may infringe someone's intellectual property rights, we encourage you to contact the rights owner. Rights owners can have infringing listings removed through the eBay Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program.

You'll find a list of rights owners and contact information, as well as information about infringing items, in the VeRO Program About Me pages.
To view the list, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/vero-aboutme.html

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Aidan

I also have contacted eBay, although I'm not sure I went through the proper channels. I was a bit discumbobulated with their site. :confused3 I see the seller lives in Orlando. Perhaps the GAC was found and someone thought it was a quick $400! I hate to think that someone who was truly helped by the card would then try to profit from it!

ebay's reporting process is pretty confusing because it doesn't actually allow you to email them. You have to choose a category to report it in and all you can actually write is the auction number (even though it looks like a tect box that you could type a message in). It's hard to figure out what category to report things like this in and I suppose that it could fit in several.

Yikes - Well, I didn't do it properly! I wrote what I thought were a few very rational, non-emotional, "here are the facts, could you please do something", sentences. I didn't include the auction number but hopefully they will be able to do a search and find the "offender". Thanks ~~ Lisa

That should work. It sounds like you found one of the hard to find places on ebay that actually let you send a message. Most of them only allow you to put in the auction number and give an error message if you try to add anything other than that. If your email went thru, you must have done it right for the link you found.

The seller lives in Orlando. It would be pretty sweet if somone from Disney showed up at their house and ran their finger prints so they could never get in the parks again:thumbsup2

The listing is still there. Apparently ebay is in no hurry to do anything about it.
So, why shouldn't we contact the seller??? Is that against ebay rules?

Yes, it is against ebay's rules because it could be seen as harassment.
Ebay moves slowly, but when this did happen before, they did move to delete the listing.
It can also be dangerous to contact an ebay seller with a complaint. When someone was selling GACs on ebay previously, there were some DIS Board posters who posted that they contacted the seller and got some nasty emails in response.

NOTE TO POSTERS: Please keep the discussion based on reporting this situation. When someone was selling GACs before on ebay, the discussion got into the 'character' and 'motivation' of the seller. Moderators/Webmasters felt that this was not appropriate since the seller did not have the opportunity to defend himself.

The seller is being really dubious - he says he's selling a white envelope that comes with the card for free. You're paying $400 for a white envelope, but there's a GAC in it for free. *Sigh*

I have seen things like that on ebay before. Things like people selling an envelope or a photo of a celebrity at a highly inflated price and you get 'free' tickets to a concert or game to get around no 'scalping' rules.

eBay contacted me regarding the email I sent last evening. They said there wasn't enough information for them to investigate. I gave them the Auction ID number and the seller ID. Seems like they earnestly are looking into the matter. ~~ Lisa
