GAC at WDW for Sun/Heat problems - any point?

So I read the FAQ and the links there about the GAC and saw that it can be issued for guest who have problems in prolonged Sun. I thought 'great this could help!' as my hubby has been battling a mystery muscle problem that is exacerbated by the heat/sun. But now that I'm thinking more about it, most of the lines in WDW are either inside or under shade. So I'm wondering if it would really do us much good to pick one up? Maybe I'm missing something but in all 4 parks I can only think of the BTMRR line where part of it is in the sun - and we always go when the line's short so we're never in that part for very long.

Can anyone help with a list of rides in any WDW park where the line is in the sun and an alternate area is available? Surprisingly walking in the heat is not as bad as just standing in the sun, so getting around isn't as much of a problem. I figured the problem would be the standing in line... but then I was trying to think of when we stood in the sun and I can't come up with much. But I usually miss the obvious so I thought I'd check in with the experts to see what the consensus was for WDW.

TIA

I should probably change that part of the GAC information to make it clear that it really is not very helpful at WDW. At one point when the parks first opened, that particular GAC message was sometimes useful because the trees were small and not all lines had roofs over the queue.
Now, most lines are well shaded, even at Animal Kingdom. The few that are not, do not have another place to wait out of the sun.

And, as you mentioned, the getting from place to place is much more of a problem than the actual time waiting in line.
Some attractions with waits in the sun:
Nemo, the Musical at AK

Lights, Motors, Action at the Studio - also, be aware that much of the seating is in the sun, so you will need to be aware of the sun and especially where it is going to be by the time the show is over.

thanks for that confirmation. that's pretty much what i recalled, they did a pretty good job protecting from the FL sun.

we'll just do like we usually do, walk through the stores to get to each land :) the one trip we felt like we were in stores more than rides  but those blasts of A/C help.

I have a fainting issue that's made worse by heat, and being there in January was a big help as it was never that bad, but where I found my problems with heat to be was in preshow areas! Large crowds of people and not a lot of room to move around. If it's heat in general that can be an issue, perhaps this is something to be aware of?
