I'm keeping an eye on Entin's tweets to see if we hear more.
That's where I saw this.

Nothing more yet. The reporter is at the reserve. Is there more than what was reported above? I'm only asking since I don't have twitter.
Could they have possibly found Brian's body and the father went to identify or would that have to be done at another location, which is maybe why the mom didn't go? However, I originally thought he was out of the country and that FBI were possibly aware of this but not letting on, I'm guessing now I am wrong.
What could he possibly have in a plastic bag that was worth bringing with him that the FBI wouldn't take or need?
Probably just some snacks he’s dropping off for Brian. So, apparently Christopher Laundrie (Brian's father) just left the house, holding a full plastic bag, and headed to the reserve followed by 3 police cars. It seems they may have zeroed in on a specific area and may have found something of interest there. No word on what might be in the bag. The lawyer has confirmed Mr. Laundrie was called to the reserve by police and the family was "told to be on standby" yesterday.
Maybe the FBI has found Brian and they’re bringing his father in to try to talk Brian into surrendering peacefully. So just musing a bit. The FBI is in charge. If they didn't want dad there they certainly could have stopped him coming. How could he be helpful? Possibly identifying found clothing or camp equipment that might belong to BL? Or details about sites the fam has used? Or other?

So, the bag contains a rag and a bottle of chloroform so when he doesn't surrender peacefully, they do things the hard way?
That's not "the hard way."So, the bag contains a rag and a bottle of chloroform so when he doesn't surrender peacefully, they do things the hard way?

Back when the News and Rumor thread existed a lot of the links were from twitter. I don't have twitter and can usually still view the articles. The only issue I have is navigation because while I view articles or tweets all the time on twitter I'm not as used to the navigation of it.And the good news is as long as they don't change the settings, you can read tweets without a Twitter account. That's how I read them. Some accounts are set to private, but many are not. (Click on the blue link, then click on Brian's name before a tweet. That should bring you to the latest.)
You know, I have a theory about that...Theories about this case are going to be swirling around forever, whether true or not.
Mental illness was likely involved... both parties. A traumatic event can only exacerbate the situation.
Well, if my husband threatened to take off and leave me in the middle of nowhere, I’d prefer not to be separated from him, and he definitely doesn’t abuse me. People assuming she’s mentally ill and he’s an abuser from this one snapshot in time is bizarre to me, since people who actually know them aren‘t collaborating that.I'm curious because I have seen SO MANY people post on this thread about Gabby either having or probably having a mental illness. Why is that? Have her parents ever said that she suffered from a mental illness? Why do so many assume that she had a mental illness.
Is it because she said she had OCD to the police officer? Millions of people have a form of OCD and lead perfectly normal lives.
Is it because she was crying and didnt want to be seperated from Brian? I would be crying too, if my boyfriend took my phone and tried to drive off without me! As far as not wanting to be seperated from Brian, thats pretty classic of abuse victims, but not necessarily a mental illness.
If I missed a link that explained that she actualy had a mental illness, maybe someone can post a link of it for me.
Sadly, hundreds of people like Gabby are murdered by their partners every year. However, in those cases, I don't see people continuously bringing up the victims mental health.
Agree. Emotional is one thing; mentally ill is something else entirely.Well, if my husband threatened to take off and leave me in the middle of nowhere, I’d prefer not to be separated from him, and he definitely doesn’t abuse me. My only angle I suppose was looking at it from a viewpoint of the stress of their trip. It can be a very stressful time for anyone in which case background stuff could interact with that. I think past conversations spoke to vanlife and social media influencer presence. But I've been under the mindset of discussing with both of them in mind not just Gabby. Is it because she said she had OCD to the police officer? Millions of people have a form of OCD and lead perfectly normal lives.
They likely would however be brought up if they disclosed they had a mental illness.Sadly, hundreds of people like Gabby are murdered by their partners every year. However, in those cases, I don't see people continuously bringing up the victims mental health.
