G0t our DDE dining card Friday-17 days after ordering..

So they have sped it up, less than 3 weeks. It's valid through 12/31/2008 which will work if we do a trip next Nov/Dec. It's just like the old card, credit card size plastic, like the DVC cards. I thought they were coming out with a version like the paper park passes , although I reread and think these will be the temporary ones that you get from guest relations. I'm a little disappointed because I remember getting 2 cards before and for $10 less, although I still think it's one of the best values in WDW.

As of November 12, the DDE card can be purchased at Guest Services at WDW. The DDE cards issued there are similar to the paper park passes. If you purchase the DDE card from the DDE office, you get a plastic card.

I agree it was nice when they sent out two cards for no extra charge. They now charge $25 for a second card.
