FYI- paying off disney pkg late....

Someone 2 weeks ago asked what would happen if they paid their disney trip (booked via the disney #) a day late. While I can't speak for every case, I forgot to pay ours off yesterday b/c of the holiday and I called this morning at 8am.

They had no problem with me paying off a day late and said everything was fine

I think they give you a grace period or something like that- not sure how long..

Perhaps the fact yesterday was a holiday may have had something to do with it in your case though, who knows.

We paid our final deposit over a week late ( not on purpose ) just a timing issue with credit card payments and a few unexpected glitches. I got two emails from Disney right around the same time I had paid the final dep saying that if the payment wasn't made in full by a certain date the whole reservation would be cancelled. I believe that I paid the balance about 30 days before checkin . So that is a huge grace period...BUT I was lucky and I would never chance losing a whole deposit and reservation that would really be tough to swallow.

The "real" pay date is 30 day before checkin. You'll get a notice (mail or e-mail) saying you are past due at that it will be cancelled if not paid by the 30day mark.
