FYI on transportaion at BLT

Really? I would imagine that there will be buses to AK, DTD, DHS, as well as the water parks. Walk or monorail to MK and monorail to Epcot. If BLT does have it's own bus stop, it will most likely share with the CR, Polynesian and GF. I doubt they would have their 'own' buses.

We were making reservations at California Grill for a trip in October and we were worried about time from HS to get there and they informed us that BLT and CR will have their seperate own buses. I did not mean bus stop at that parks. They will probable be sharing a bus stop at parks like many other resorts do.

I think that information from Dining is wrong.

All information from DVC has indicated that BLT will share transportation options with the CR. In fact, DVC members have been told there will NOT be a separate bus stop for BLT. BLT guests will walk to the CR bus stop, to the CR 4th floor to catch the monorail and the marina to catch the boats.

It doesn't make sense for the BLT to have separate buses from the CR.

I highly doubt that Bay Lake Tower is going to have their own buses because they are not building their own bus station, because it's been known that anyone staying there will be getting on the buses from the Contemporary bus station.

If you got the information from Disney Dining, you can pretty much ignore it. They're the ones who tell people that if they book an early morning ADR, they will have to get a cab there because the buses don't start running until an hour before the park opens...and that's just plain incorrect. They are always giving out bad transportation info.

I was at the Contemporary 3 weeks ago, parked in front of BLT and did not see an additional bus stop area, everything is pretty much complete. The Contemporary bus stop is very close to the BLT entrance and they built a skybridge to get over to the monorail station. Just think of how big the Yacht & Beach Clubs are and they share a bus. Boardwalk shares with Swan & Dolphin (and sometimes Y & B). Animal Kingdom Lodge has 1 bus for both Jambo and Kidani.

Maybe with the increased occupancy at the BLT and CR they will not share busses with the Poly and GF any more.

THAT is why everyone is trying to say. THe dining information was meant to convey that BLT and CR will TOGETHER have their own bus, separate from other resorts!

Not counting on that.

BLT replaced a CR wing. BLT may have a bit more capacity than the wing it replaced, but if the CR shared buses before the wing was demolished, it's going to share after BLT opens. JMHO. YMMV.

Again...doubt it. I can imagine the uproar at the other resorts. BW already shares with two other resorts, and sometimes four others. BC shares with YC and sometimes with S/D and BW.
I can just imagine what would happen if BLT/CR got their own bus. Oh my, it wouldn't be pretty. There is absolutely no reason for them to have their own buses...the buses go only to AK and DHS (and DTD) for crying out loud. There is absolutely no difference in capacity now than back when the North Wing was there. In fact, I believe the North Wing probably held more people than BLT does.

I also thought maybe the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower would not share buses with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. However since the North Garden Wing had more rooms then what Bay Lake Tower will have and they shared bus service with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian, then there won't be a difference and no reason for that to happen once Bay Lake Tower opens.
