FYI.. if you are the parent of a child in school and belong to your school's PTA/PTSA group, you should be eligible for this deal:

National PTA convention is this month in Anaheim (I'm bummed that I found out too late)... go to www.pta.org and click on "annual convention"

On the right side, there is a box that says "Disneyland" and a small link that you can purchase conference rate tickets to the park...

5 day hopper passes are $104 adult, $84 kids (and look like the standard tickets as they are good 14 days from first use, expired Dec 16, 2004)

Order them right on the link (also available 1 or 2 day tickets).

The site says ordering closes June 10, 2004 so they can fed ex the tickets in time for the convention.

I am a PTA board member is how I found out about this (have been for 3 years, have 2 more years to go) and also a teacher in a different district...no PTA members have individual membership numbers but your PTA has a charter number that identifies your particular school's PTA. When I first checked this, it looks like the link takes you to a non-pta site selling the convention tickets so I don't think they check your membership at all (or care it seems).
