BTW, the Go Red for Women 5K has changed its course I liked the DTD course but 08 will be at EPCOT. Here's the description:

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Go Red for Women 5K participants will experience a new race course through Epcot® Park. The course will take runners past icons such as Test Track, Spaceship Earth and the Fountain of Nations. Race participants will also have the opportunity to discover all eleven nations of World Showcase before an exciting finish just outside of Epcot® Park.

$100 for team registration for two people when it only costs $45 per person to register as individuals? I think that we'll be passing on the team competition, thank you very much.

You get special team bibs and a chance for team prizes so I guess that's what the cost is for

I will get the DVC app as soon as possible

Thanks for the update. I have actually been checking periodically. I am particularly excited about this one because this is going to be my first "big race back" after my back surgery.

Registering for it will make it feel that much more "official"

Ok so now I don't know which one I want to do - actually I want to do BOTH!!! I love the idea of running the whole 5k through Epcot. How COOL would that be!!! But I also want to get that Minnie Medal. And if I survive the 13k I know I can do a 15k. Is it possible to do both races?

Many of us did both races last year.
IF I do it this year, I will do both again.

I did both races as well. It was a great race weekend and if you go to do one, you HAVE to do both

Well, at this rate it never will. I just checked again (3:00pm) and it's still not open.

I THINK it took several months, but I'm sure there were threads about it. Let me search the WISH forum and find one.

DD13 are now registered for both races. Yay! This'll be our third year together.

I do wish they'd make the online registration more user-friendly...I had to fill out my info 3 times for each race.

How fast does this one usually fill up?

The Minnie never filled last year and Disney was disapointed about the number of runners entered. I heard they were allowing 4000 but only 2500 entered. That's why the race is going away.
