FYI: Make sure to check Magical Express vouchers..

Talk about mix ups! My DD and her family are leaving for a quick 4-day trip next week. She received her Magical Express vouchers last month and all seemed okay. Here's where it gets weird. My DH and I will be driving down (with camper) in November with my DS and his wife. They will be using the Magical Express 5 days into our trip to return home because they need to return to work. My DH and I will be staying for another 6 days.

Yesterday my daughter received another Magical Express voucher at her home address. Unfortunately, it was supposed to have been the one to be sent to MY house. It was in my DIL's name, with my daughter's address (as well as a different last name than my DIL), and also had the wrong date on the voucher. The account # on the voucher did not match up with EITHER reservation. Talk about a mix up. No one from the Magical Express department could explain what happened but did say that it is now all straightened out. They are supposedly re-sending a CORRECT voucher to the right house. What is so strange is that my daughter has a different last name than us and has never used any of my contact info so there is no reason for anything of ours to get mixed up. I am sure in the long run everything will get straightened out, but just wanted to make all aware to check out voucher names and dates to make sure they are correct!

Before you get to Disney, the mixup is not all that critical.

Yes, call and get it straightened out. Get the name and city of the person you talk to on the phone (do this for anything you order or buy or reserve on the phone anytime.).

But if your new correct vouchers don't arrive in time, bring the old incorrect ones with you. Chances are the CM's won't even ask to see them.

New correct vouchers will be printed on the spot at the welcoming area if needed.

Now you do need a correct confirmation for your trip back to the airport. If it does not arrive at your room the day before checkout, go down to the front desk to get it or get it corrected before heading to the parks that day before. (For breakfast, steam train tour, etc. in the morning go to that and when that is done immediately return to your resort to fix the Magical Express.)
