FYI - Dolphin in October!

I don't know if this info has been posted since I haven't been on the Resorts board in a while but...

While I was at WDW Monday I wandered thru the Dolphin, stopping at the front desk to inquire about the rate (AAA or AP) for Oct.28 and was told they are booked solid for the month of October with some BIG conventions coming in (10,000 people). She did tell me if I really wanted to stay there, rack rate at $325/night was available!!!

October is a REAL big convention month not only at the S/D but in all of the WDW resorts. At one time it was considered "off peak" ...now it's not...due to the significant increase in conventions. If you're planning a trip in October to WDW you might want to check the other WDW resort's availability as well.
