Hi,

I have been using my Disney Visa Rewards at the Disney Store to help buy my passes for our upcoming trip. The first time I did this, there was no problem. I bought a child's 5 day pass. Yesterday I went to use some of my newly earned dollars to the Disney Store to help purchase and adult ticket. When the Manager went to use them, the Disney Store's Cash Register would only allow me to use 2 of the Rewards totalling $40. Apparently a change went into to the Disney Store's "Computer" and they may only use 2 gift cards per transaction. The Disney Reward cards to be used at the Disney Store are treated like gift cards by the Disney Store. I will tell you that I called the Disney Visa Card Customer Service line and they were extremely helpful and completely resolved my issue while I was at the Disney Store.

Just be aware of this when you order you Disney Visa Rewards to be used at the Disney Store. Disney Visa needs to be able to issue larger "dollar amounts" than $20 OR the Disney Store is going to have to modify their system. If you need to use more than $40 under the current guidelines, I would think a call to the Disney Visa Rewards Customer Service folks would be a good idea.

Hope this helps somebody somewhere.

Thanks for the post. I already bought one pass with multiple Disney store cards and was planning to buy another soon. Maybe I'll just get WDW certificates and use them to help pay for the room instead.

I was at TDS the other day, talking to the manager and she said the same thing. She had a guess buying passes, and she had to call someone, and they would only allow her to use 2 certificates. I told her that they had better make changes to that soon, or the Disney Visa would lose all their customers (told her nicely, we were having a friendly conversation). She agreed, and said as soon as enough people complained they would probably do something about it. Hopefully the new card type system will make the correct changes.
